Today we meet Pauline, a young recruit in the Rental Service, she is in charge of the management of the public dock and seasonal rentals. Smiling, dynamic and cheerful, she is a new sunshine within the Harbor Master’s Office.
Who are you and what is your position at Port Camille Rayon?
My name is Pauline, I am 29 years old and I hold the post of secretary in the administrative or rental service of the Port Captain Camille Rayon. I am in charge of the management of the public wharf or called “quai 50” as well as seasonal rentals. An entire program !
When did you join the ranks of the port
We will soon be celebrating my 1 year at the port!
What is for you the most striking moment since arriving at the port?
No day is the same and that’s what makes our job so interesting! There’s always a lot of things going on, so it’s hard to choose. If I had to pick one it would be the environment day where port teams, divers and yachters lend a hand in a common goal: cleaning the port, the dikes and its seabed. But I wonder if it’s not the common barbecue right after that also catches my attention 🙂
What do you think is Camille Rayon’s strongest point?
Its village side and its family spirit. Everyone knows each other, said hello to each other, there are many places to meet. A soothing atmosphere that makes you feel good.
Hobbies?
Longboarding, Scandinavia and its hygge, gardening, the 70’s etc. In itself, the simple things …
